    Fundraisers need more than technical expertise. They must cast a clear vision, build trust, influence stakeholders, and channel generosity into meaningful impact. This 1.5-day interactive program is designed for mid-career fundraising professionals ready to enhance their strategic thinking and organizational influence, leading to measurable growth in their roles.

    Nonprofits today face complex leadership challenges, from evolving workplace dynamics and retiring senior staff to financial pressures and changing donor behavior. To succeed, organizations need strong, visionary leadership at all levels.

    This course is designed for fundraising professionals with 4+ years of experience who aim to step into leadership roles. Participants will learn how to project executive presence, navigate organizational structures, build trust, expand networks, and think strategically — skills essential for guiding their organizations to success.

      AFP MA's Fundraising Fundamentals Course is an introduction to fundraising for those who are new to the field. Career changers and junior professionals turn to Fundamentals to acquire skills necessary for building a successful fundraising program. Development directors and CEOs encourage their staff to attend to give them a well-rounded knowledge of fundraising and development. 

      With more than 10 faculty members dedicating their time to this course, registrants will have direct access to accomplished individuals from a variety of fundraising sectors and backgrounds.
