The ABC's and 123's of DAFs

Presented by

Melissa Bank Stepno, President & CEO, The Helen Brown Group

Monday, June 16, 2025

11:00 AM - 12:00 PM EST

This event will be held virtually on Zoom.

Donor Advised Funds (DAFs) are transforming the landscape of nonprofit fundraising and influencing donor behavior. In this session you will learn:

  • What should we be thinking about when researching a prospect with a DAF?
  • Who are the donors/advisors of DAFs?
  • What are the mechanics and logistics of how they work?
  • What organizations sponsor DAFs and what are the best ways to interact with them?
  • What can we learn from nonprofits who successfully receive DAF funding that can help with our own organization’s fundraising?

AFP MA's In Case You Missed It series is for those who were unable to attend our Annual Conference – Fundraising Day in Boston – or who wish to experience their favorite sessions once more.
