The course includes a series of master sessions taught by a faculty of practicing professionals in the field who are eager to share their knowledge with you. You will have direct access to accomplished individuals from a variety of fundraising sectors. Learn to apply fundraising techniques in the context of changing demographics, emerging management models, and ethical challenges. The Basics Course covers all areas of the development process from identifying your priorities and prospects, through the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship process, and planned giving. Corporate and foundation solicitation strategies, major gifts and capital campaign components also will be covered. Students will receive comprehensive resources and summaries for each interactive session.
