Biography:

Meet Courtney Church – master visionary, big picture thinker and co-CEO of the award-winning Corinthian Events, one of the oldest and largest full-service event agencies in New England.

Courtney and her partner Jill Tate founded Corinthian Events in 2000 and in 2020 brought their expertise to Rhode Island by acquiring Newport Hospitality. As a key “driver of the bus,” Courtney oversees a team of 28 amazing performers, who produce close to 200 events per annum between both Boston and Newport offices. Whether it’s an epic New England experience, seamless meeting production or a revenue-generating non-profit gala, Courtney and her team have done it all.

With over 30 years in the hospitality industry, her experience goes far beyond events. Past careers include travel agent, Caribbean hotel sales, and wine wholesaler, making her a valuable resource to her clients and the team. She revels in keeping clients and her team happy; often finding a moment of levity to throw in a funny punchline.

Her extensive production knowledge, creative genes and impeccable attention to detail are what make her outstanding both as a leader and as a teammate. She is humble about her accomplishments and would prefer to be behind the scenes helping others shine and succeed.
