Fundraising through Team Events

Wednesday, May 2, 2018

32nd Floor
Boston, MA 02108

Do you ever wonder how all of those charities sponsor runners in the Boston Marathon? Have you seen the bikes fly by in Foxborough in September for Rodman Ride for Kids and wonder what it’s for? Team fundraising – whether through a run, a bike ride or something else – is an incredible way to share your mission and raise money to support it. How do you start and manage a team? How does this fit in your overall marketing and fundraising plan? What happens after the race or ride?

This panel discussion features representatives from Rodman for Kids and the Boston Athletic Association, who will share the history of their team programs and their impact, as well as representatives from two of their partner organizations, who will share some of their best practices and suggestions for making team fundraising events work for your organization.
